I have one child who, in the middle of lunch, will ask, "What are we having for supper today?" During the whole movie (or at least when the food began raining down) she kept saying,"Oh, I am getting so hungry!" "Yum! That looks so good!" I have not read the book, buy I did enjoy the movie along with my kids. I thought that some parts were a bit intense for the youngest viewers, but overall pretty entertaining.
